Dimitris N. Leimonis

Founder and Lead Architect, AI Transform Lab

Dimitris N. Leimonis delivers every edition of this programme personally — all three days, every session, including the build sessions and the run-off scoring. There is no rotating faculty, no associate trainer and no substitution. If a date is offered, it is a date he is in the room for.

Twenty-five years across corporate finance, private markets and investment management, and he builds the systems he teaches. He was Chief Financial Officer of a Monaco-based private investment group, leading due diligence, valuation and investment analysis across real estate, hospitality and shipping. Earlier he managed European bond, money market and equity funds with more than €2bn under management.

His financial modelling work includes a REIT valuation model for the manager of a Tadawul-listed REIT, the model underpinning more than $1bn of international energy project financing, and multi-billion-pound cost and risk models for major UK infrastructure programmes.

As an instructor he has trained more than 8,000 professionals across 25 or more countries. That work includes analyst and associate programmes delivered for five global investment banks, and more than 400 professionals across EY, Grant Thornton, BDO and KPMG.

More than 350 finance professionals have taken an AI-in-Finance masterclass in this series.

He is the architect of the TransformLab.ai platform — the live platform this programme runs on, with real-time exercise scoring, AI-powered feedback and a team leaderboard — and the founder of an AI-enabled maritime intelligence venture. The build sessions in this programme are specified rather than improvised because the person specifying them has built the same things under a deadline. He was formerly Adjunct Professor at ALBA Graduate Business School, Athens.

AI-in-Finance masterclasses in this series have been delivered in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Pakistan and Singapore.

Objectives of the Masterclass

The capstone executes

The capstone here is not a document. A document can be approved, filed and never tested. On the final morning, each team's own agentic workflow runs live, in front of the room, against cases it has never seen — and is scored on whether it holds.

The build starts on day one

Teams begin building on Day 1 and are still building on Day 3. Selection first, construction next, proof last. A build that starts on the final day fails on the final day, which is why this one does not start there.

It is your process, not a case study

Each team brings a real recurring process from its own function and scopes it under supervision on Day 1. Nobody builds a demonstration of somebody else's month-end. Every exercise is applied by each team to its own process, wherever in the region that process sits.

Everything is scored as you go

The programme runs on TransformLab.ai, the trainer's own platform: real-time scoring on every exercise, AI-generated feedback on submissions, and a live team leaderboard. Teams know where they stand from the first hour, which is why the room works.

Taught by someone who builds — and he teaches every edition himself

The trainer is a former CFO who architected the platform the programme runs on. The build sessions are specified, not improvised, because the person specifying them has built the same things under a deadline. Dimitris N. Leimonis delivers every edition of this programme personally. There is no rotating faculty and no substitute trainer: the person named in this document is the person in the room, for all three days. No participant writes code at any point.
